NewsBreak is RIA’s monthly e-newsletter that keeps the industry apprised of late-breaking news and issues. It is sent to more than 5,000 cleaning and restoration industry professionals worldwide and includes RIA updates, upcoming courses and events, marketing suggestions, practical technical tips, information on RIA products, and news affecting the industry.
How We Get Our Information:
Our editorial staff monitors nearly 7,000 newspapers, business and trade publications, websites, national and international wire services, and other periodicals and summarizes significant articles into an easy-to-read summary.
Who We Target:
NewsBreak targets business owners, key executives, and technicians in firms that clean carpets, draperies, upholstery and related home furnishings, as well as those who specialize in fire and water damage restoration, and indoor environmental issues.
When NewsBreak is Distributed:
NewsBreak is e-mailed on or around the 15th of each month.

Each issue of NewsBreak will contain 1 banner ad and 6 sidebar ads, giving companies multiple opportunities to advertise their products to the cleaning and restoration industry.

Artwork Requirements:
Sponsor will supply RIA with a company logo, website link and copy up to 150 characters long.
Deadline for space reservations and artwork will be the 6th of each month for that month’s publication. All artwork, logos and sponsorship verbiage should be sent to Casey Geisler at cgeisler@restorationindustry.org.
Policies:
Due to space limitations, banner and sidebar positions may only be purchased for one month at a time. Sponsors may request additional months and will be included as space allows.
Sponsorship rates include the banner or sidebar position on page 1, text up to 150 characters long and a live link to the sponsor’s website.
RIA reserves the right to determine suitability of advertising verbiage submitted for inclusion in Newsbreak and to refuse to run messages that do not comply with RIA’s policies.

Have a great idea and need a space to spill it? We are always accepting articles for the two most talked about columns: Marketing Savvy and Toolbox Tips. Look at past issues to get an idea of what our editorial team needs. Articles must be between 150–300 words and must be sent in no later than the 6th of the month in order to be considered for that month’s issue.
