Educational Programs and EventsCertified Mold Professional CourseNovember 14-16, 2006 Kalamazoo, MICECs: RIA3 credits; IICRC1 mold, 2 cleaning/restoration; NADCA4 credits Primary Emphasis
Course Description
Areas of primary emphasis will include general inspection procedures for contaminants indoors (chemical, biological, particulates, fire residue, etc.) The course emphasizes the inter-relatedness of building systems and the predominance of situations where indoor environmental quality is impacted by multiple problems or contaminants. The course is taught with multiple instructors to bring top level industry experience to the class. In order to keep the course current and consistent from class to class, the text is a series of detailed subject outlines with ancillary technical articles. The course materials will be provided to the participants 2-4 weeks in advance with the understanding that they will scan or read the technical materials before class begins. One of the requirements of the class is for each student to outline a technical article for publication and review it with their peers so that following the completion of the course they will flesh it out and submit it for publication in technical journals. Successful completion of the advance course will allow an individual to submit a technical paper for certification. Location
