The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and five building industry associations -- the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, the American Institute of Architects, the Building Owners and Managers Association International, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors of North America, and the U.S. Green Building Council -- joined forces to release a book and CD spelling out 40 ways to improve indoor air quality in buildings. "The Indoor Air Quality Guide: Best Practices for Design, Construction and Commissioning" focuses on moisture management, ventilation, filtration and air cleaning, and source control from the design process to the finished structure. The resource is available as a hard copy or an electronic publication and is priced at $29.
